Making sure your iPhone doesn’t get scratched is no easy task. Online forums endlessly debate hundreds of iPhone cases. Unfortunately, picking a “best one” is simply not possible, since each user has differing needs. So we’ve decided to list some of the highest buzz cases, plus our favorite one.

  • Leather holster – We’ve used a Sena 3G Eléga Pouch ($40) since the first iPhone debuted. While it wore out after two years of constant use, the tenacious belt clip never broke. Another popular hard case is the Incipio Feather ($20), which is made of a light, strong polymer that measures less than 1mm thin. Finally, for a classy look check out Griffin Elan Form Chrome ($35), which has top-grain leather, bonded to an impact-resistant polycarbonate inner shell. As the name suggests, there are chrome accents.
  • Soft case – The Power Support Air Jacket ($35) has a black rubber plastic shell with a maximum thickness of 1mm that “hugs” the iPhone from both sides. The Air Jacket will not fall off without some effort and yet is easy to remove. The finish keeps it fingerprint resistant. It comes with two Crystal Film protective screen films, which are universally acclaimed.

    I just bought a case for my iphone 3gs from them and received 15% coupon in email.

    I’ve seen many breakable plastic metallic “feel” cases, but this one is made out of very thin actual aluminum with uv coating layer on. Bought a silver one and it feels like they made a case out of my silver Camry body. It’s like i got nothing on my phone. Good stuff.

    Thank you for calling that out Chris. What a joke by the blinkcase marketing department. Just because they tried to pull a fast one on us, I will no longer attempt to buy an iPhone case from them.
